I kept failing interviews on delivery, so I built a practice coach that scores eye contact

The answers were usually fine. The first 90 seconds were not.
I would leave a call knowing what I meant to say, and also knowing I had looked at the wall, rushed the punchline, or sounded unsure. Practicing in my head did nothing. A mirror does not tell you if you sped up. Friends are kind. A coach is a few hundred dollars an hour.
So I built Every Round. It is a mock interview coach for iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
What it actually does
You pick a role, or you paste a job URL. It asks behavioral, technical, situational, or general questions.
You answer out loud, on camera. While you talk it scores three things live:
eye contact
speaking pace
confidence
After the session you get a breakdown of what to work on. Eye contact and tone analysis run on the device. Transcription and answer feedback use cloud AI. Recordings are not stored after analysis.
What it is not
This is practice. It does not sit in on a live interview. It does not feed you answers. I will not ship that.
If you want a copilot that whispers in your ear during a real Zoom, this is the wrong app.
How I use it
I treat it like a gym, not a script.
Paste the listing for the role I actually want.
Do one session out loud, not in my head.
Look at the scores. If I rushed, I do the same question slower. If eye contact dropped, I do it again looking at the camera, not the question text.
Stop when the answer sounds like a person, not a STAR template I memorized.
STAR is useful. Sounding like you are reading STAR is not.
What I still want to know
I'm a solo founder. Two things I'd actually like from people who interview a lot:
Is a live overlay useful while you are answering, or does it pull your attention?
What's missing before you'd use this for a real upcoming interview?
If you have a round coming up, try the free session and tell me which of those two it is.
I built Every Round for iPhone, iPad, and Mac. You practice out loud. It scores eye contact, pace, and confidence live.
