This isn’t meant to be a complaint post. However, does anyone else feel like their dev team spends entirely too much time in meetings? Don’t get me wrong, I don’t need to be working nonstop and pulling overtime. At the same time, I also don’t need to have meetings every two hours each day of the week that ultimately disrupts my flow, or meetings that last for three or more hours at a time.
It’s gotten to the point where meetings are my primary job duty instead of coding. My team thinks that we all should be analysts, apparently. Which I don’t have a problem with analyst, but that’s not really my job.
